The Deluxe King Room offered a spacious layout with a king-sized bed that felt more like a small planet. you could practically spread out like a Wookiee. The location is spot-on—close to the heart of everything, making wandering around the area a breeze.
The noise from the nearby bar kept me awake late into the night, especially since my room faced the front. Heavy lorries zooming past at all hours didn't help either. it directly impacted sleep quality. The furniture wasn't so great either. the lounge chair lost a leg when I moved it, and the coffee table had all four legs on the brink of collapse, which made it hard to kick back. there wasn't enough hanging space for clothes in the lounge, which forced me to use a dining chair instead. these weren't deal-breakers, but they do need a bit of attention.

Charming stay with delightful dining experience
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in a Deluxe King Room, where the beautiful decor and large, comfortable bed made for a pleasant retreat. The Bistrot Pierre restaurant offered exceptional a la carte breakfast options, including freshly prepared dishes like steak and eggs. The location in the centre of Ilkley made exploring local attractions easy, but I did encounter some noise from guests at the bar during my stay.

Historical character, delightful outdoor seating, engaging dining experience
Noise levels from nearby events disrupted the night's rest!!! The lack of parking caused quite a hassle on arrival and departure. Attention needed for cleanliness in common areas and better maintenance in bathrooms.

The one-bedroom suite offered a spacious layout with a full kitchen and a cozy lounge area, perfect for relaxing after exploring nearby attractions. The breakfast selection was extensive and freshly prepared, enhancing the overall experience. the lack of a lift and inadequate communication from staff regarding mobility assistance detracted from the stay. there was confusion over breakfast charges that seemed unnecessary.
